Neurotoxins

While dermal filler injections can help restore volume loss and correct age-related wrinkles and lines (static wrinkles), neurotoxins smooth dynamic wrinkles on the face (wrinkles caused by repetitive muscle contractions, often occurring from facial expressions and squinting). These neuromodulators block signals from the muscle to the brain, prohibiting contractions in the muscle and smoothing out the skin.

Restored Facial Volume

Over time, collagen production in the face slows down, leaving women and men with hollow and gaunt areas (especially the cheeks and under the eyes). Injectable fillers restore lost volume by retaining moisture in the skin or improving the production of collagen in the deep layers of the skin.

Smoother Skin

Static and dynamic wrinkles can cause many people to feel self-conscious about their facial appearance; however, fillers and neuromodulators can be used to reduce (and even remove) these unwanted lines in the face, resulting in smooth skin that feels as good as it looks.

Minimally Invasive

Injectable treatments are minimally invasive, with little to no downtime. Additionally, there will be no incisions, no scarring, and minimal discomfort (if any).

Your Injectable Treatment

Consultation: At your consultation, you will be able to explain your cosmetic concerns and goals. Our specialist will evaluate your facial skin to determine which injectable treatment is right for you.

Injection: Your licensed professional provider will inject the specific injectable product into your face. Fillers will be injected just below the skin, while neurotoxins will be injected directly into the muscle.

Lidocaine is injected with the solution to minimize any pain and discomfort you may feel during the treatment session.

Concerns

Recovery

While you may experience some bruising, swelling, and soreness after your injectable treatment, little or no downtime is required. This means you can return to your everyday activities immediately after your treatment session.

Scars

Because injectable treatments require no incisions, there will be no resulting scars.

Pain

You may experience some discomfort immediately following your injectable treatment; however, this discomfort is temporary, and you should not experience any pain. Lidocaine is included with the injection, and over-the-counter medication can be taken to alleviate any discomfort you may feel.

Who is a good candidate for injectable treatments?

Ideal candidates are non-smoking women and men in good general health but are frustrated with the appearance of volume loss and wrinkles on their faces. Additionally, patients should have realistic expectations for their results.

It is important to note that injectable treatments cannot correct severe skin sagging, the presence of jowls, displaced fat, or neck muscle bands. If you suffer from these issues, facelift surgery may be better for you.
